Every HTTP request and TCP check performed by Uptimestatus.net originates from our server. You must only configure monitors for URLs and hosts you own or have written authorization to monitor.

TCP port checks (e.g. checking if port 443 is open) are particularly sensitive. These checks are performed from our server's IP address and may be logged by the target system. Only configure port monitors for your own infrastructure.
All HTTP monitoring requests include the user agent UptimestatusBot/2.1. Do not attempt to forge or disguise these requests. Target servers may block this user agent โ that is their right.
If you believe someone is using Uptimestatus.net to monitor your systems without authorization, contact the administrator of this installation to report the abuse.
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension without notice. We cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
